Charlotte Edwards Joins Johnjac Cricket Supplies

We are delighted to announce that with immediate effect Charlotte Edwards the England women's cricket captain has become an Ambassador for Johnjac Cricket Supplies.

Charlotte will spend time in her role coaching children at schools who have purchased the unique Johnjac Concertina net system and also be supporting our forthcoming sales & marketing activity.

Johnjac Cricket Supplies at the TES Show in London

Johnjac Cricket were exhibiting the unique Devon Malcolm Concertina Cricket Net System at the TES Education show at London Olympia on the 2nd & 3rd of October.

At the show Devon Malcolm and Charlotte Edwards presented a workshop in conjunction with Chance To Shine on coaching & playing cricket in schools during which they also showed how the Concertina is seen as the ideal product for helping develop childrens cricketing skills in the playground.

Dale Community Primary School, Derby

In July The Dale Community Primary School in Derby received their Devon Malcolm Concertina cricket net system through their involvement with the Chance To Shine programme.

With space of a premium the Concertina is perfect for the heavy involvement in cricket at the school. Being fixed against the fence the cage takes no more than 50cm of space but extends into an 8.3 metre cricket net, which enables cricket to be played safely in the playground all year round.

Devon Malcolm was on hand to pass on some usefull tips to the school children, as were Dan Birch and Tom Lungley from Derbyshire CCC and members of the Derbyshire Cricket Board.

Seven Concertina's at two London schools

St. Thomas's School South Clapham and also Battersea have taken delivery of seven Concertina Cricket Net Systems between them. The Concertina's at the Battersea School are each 10m long and when closed are only .750mm.

These systems allow children to play cricket all year round in a safe environment. See our Concertina page for more details.
